Village Underground is a renovated turn-of-the-century warehouse in the heart of Shoreditch, east London. Known for its cutting-edge club nights and a stage that’s home to the best new and emerging talent alongside world-class artists, it’s been amainstay of the east London nightlife scene for 15 years and counting.

Alongside our public programme Village Underground’s multi-functional space is available for private events and shoots. The revenue raised from these hires directly funds our artistic programme.

The former Victorian warehouse boasts 5000 sq. ft. of blank canvas space with impressive ceiling heights, exposed bare brickwork and industrial metalwork throughout. The skylights can be left uncovered to allow natural light into the venue, or they can remain covered to create a completely darkened space.

Part arts-venue, part creative community, Village Underground is a space that remains defiant, forward-thinking and fiercely independent.
