Opened in 1976, the Museum of London’s collections have been assembled over hundreds of years, from the two predecessor institutions (Guildhall Museum and London Musuem) that merged to form the modern museum to the ongoing work of collecting.

The Terrace Gallery is a popular venue for daytime meetings and evening receptions. A private garden area provides a tranquil and peaceful setting for conference breakouts or standalone receptions.

The Garden Room is situated adjacent to the Terrace Gallery. The two rooms can be combined with the garden area to create a reception space for up to 250 guests, or it can be used a venue in its own right for smaller dinners of up to 60 guests.

The Terrace Boardroom is an exclusive room, which features a stylish archaeological display. The space is perfect for smaller meetings requiring privacy or intimate dining experiences.

The stylish Entrance Hall is a contemporary, light filled space with a central bar making it perfect for drinks receptions. After the reception, guests can move through to the London Ellipse Hall to continue the event. Alternatively, the Entrance Hall can be used as the main event space.

A unique event space in the heart of the museum, which features a show-stopping digital ellipse and plasma screen suspended from the ceiling. Clients can choose from endless possibilities of showstates for the 48-metre long circular LED ellipse, from a twinkling chandelier to your own bespoke display. It’s the perfect addition to award ceremonies and celebrations.

The Weston Theatre is a purpose-built lecture theatre providing a high-spec venue for presentations, conferences, lectures, and screenings. It features a PA, data projector, screen, and lectern. You’ll also have an in-house technician on hand throughout the duration of your event. The Theatre also offers full blackout facilities, AC, Wi-Fi, and wheelchair access.

The award-winning galleries at the Museum of London tell the amazing story of the world’s most exciting city and its people. Clients can get ‘closer to London’ whilst enjoying a reception, dinner, or awards ceremony within the galleries themselves. Enchant your guests with the starlit ambience of the 18th century Pleasure Gardens or let them dine next to the original Art Deco lift from Selfridge’s in the People’s City Gallery. It’s the ultimate ‘night at the museum’ experience!

The Activity Spaces in the Clore Centre can be used as one large conference space for 200 delegates or split into three for smaller meetings. It is also popular as an exhibition or catering space for clients using the Weston Theatre.

Located in the Clore Learning Centre, the Seminar Room and Studio can easily be adapted for both formal meetings and more informal networking or breakout sessions. The spaces can be used on their own or combined for a larger event.
