Built for the sole purpose of entertaining and creating a spectacle, Banqueting House has been making an impression for nearly 400 years. The only remaining component of the Palace of Whitehall in London, it was commissioned by Charles I, the ceiling of the Banqueting House is a unique masterpiece and the only surviving in-situ ceiling painting by Sir Peter Paul Rubens.

Banqueting House has two spaces for corporate and private evening entertaining. The Main Hall is topped by the magnificent Rubens ceiling and able to seat 380 for dinner or 500 for a drinks reception. The Undercroft is an atmospheric space for pre-dinner drinks or more contemporary parties.

Banqueting House is part of the Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) group, an independent charity that manages the UK’s unoccupied royal palaces. Blue Strawberry is one of very few suppliers with a crown accreditation listing, meaning we are approved suppliers across all HRP venues.
