Blue Strawberry Group has just announced the launch of new brand, Flourish, which brings together the Business and Industry arm of the Group’s activity.
Stuart Jenkins, Managing Director, Blue Strawberry Group
“We are thrilled to be able to talk about Flourish now, after more than five years of delivering this comprehensive service under the Group umbrella. Over this time, we worked hard on perfecting our offer until we were ready to launch this year under a dedicated stand-alone brand.
Working with lots of corporate clients through our sister companies over the years, we noticed a lack of ‘joined-up thinking’ and limited choice in the marketplace in terms of the quality and environmental approach of daily hospitality providers. We encountered numerous Facilities Managers and CEOs who wanted to do away with this stressful and time-consuming job – to outsource to a trusted partner.
In such a challenging time now for many businesses, we can truly help to support a seamless return to the workplace.”
Flourish offers flexible options suitable for all levels of service, giving clients their time back, so they can concentrate fully on their own key objectives. Our integrated corporate hospitality and ancillary services remove the burden of in-house management and increase staff satisfaction, retention and productivity.
Our knowledgeable team has adapted our provision to ensure Covid-Secure compliance, removing any concerns around returning to workplaces. Our Delivery To Desk service enables diners to select their choices from a diverse and healthy menu, easily accessed online, which is then delivered directly to their desks, thereby eradicating unnecessary movement/interaction and mitigating the risk to workforces.
Food is at the core of our business. Our conscientious team delivers high quality, environmentally responsible and nutritious all-day menus. Working within clients’ budgets, we carefully design the menus to ensure we offer the best dishes at the best price-point. With excellent customer service at the forefront at all times, Flourish also provides reception and janitorial staff.

They are clearly operationally accomplished and therefore I have no doubt they will be able to deliver large and complex events that we host here at the Roundhouse. We thoroughly look forward to working with them.”

We are all really excited to work closely with the venue team to create lots of astounding events in the future.”
A rich history
Over the years, the Roundhouse has played host to performances from many stellar musicians – from The Doors, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix in the 60s/70s to Radiohead, Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga in recent years, following the £30m refurbishment in 2006.
Event organisers will be pleased to note that all income generated through private hire goes directly towards supporting work with young people through the Roundhouse Studios. The charity has helped over 12000 youths since it was established in 2006.
With over 2500sqm of space, the building can accommodate all types of events from drinks receptions for 1800, seated dinners for 850 and conferences for up to 1500 guests. Additionally, the Roundhouse is fully accessible for wheelchair users and holds a Gold Standard Award from Attitude is Everything recognising their ongoing commitment to provide the best possible experience for deaf and disabled visitors.

The Engage!19 London Experience opened on 28 October with a money-can’t-buy medieval feast at Tower of London.
Sarah Haywood, Sarah Haywood Weddings & Celebrations
“I cannot think how we could have opened the social events in a more spectacular way. The dramatic entrance to the Tower and then once inside the walls the beautiful adventure unfolded. Wow! Congratulations and thank you to everyone on this fantastic team.”
Fit for a king or queen
A feast fit for medieval royalty met modern haute cuisine as Blue Strawberry showed why they are known for sensational food and exceptional events. Inspired by the venue’s fascinating story and unusual historic ingredients, the menus took guests – with their modern discerning palates – on an unforgettable journey.
Welcoming guests to the UK’s capital city with a real wow factor, Blue Strawberry and leading industry event partners enthralled the high profile international crowd, attendees of the world’s foremost luxury weddings and events summit.
The warmest of welcomes
Following a regal fanfare, a breathtaking fire show set to the popular ‘Game of Thrones’ theme tune and a tour of the Crown Jewels, welcome receptions were held in the White Tower and Medieval Palace.
Blue Strawberry’s imaginative chefs crafted a bespoke medieval menu for the evening which showcased artisan produce and an abundance of ethically sourced ingredients.
Immersing guests in the Middle Ages, beautifully styled staff greeted the crowd with medieval inspired canapés including Warm mousse of barley and onion ‘soup’ and Soused herring, fennel toast, smoked yoghurt and caviar accompanied by cocktails such as ‘Honey Mead’ (Bourbon, honey, mead, peach and lemon) and ‘Beet of the Drum’ (Rum, Sherry, Falernum, black cherry and beetroot purée).
Key focal points at each of the receptions, Blue Strawberry’s rustic market barrows featured authentically dressed chefs serving ‘meat-fruit’ rillettes and parfaits, which looked intriguingly like fresh fruit, alongside chargrilled sourdough toasts.
Opulent medieval feast
The evening continued in the New Armories with the dramatic reveal of an enchanting medieval feast, set under a magnificent canopy of Autumnal florals. The opulent table was adorned with decorative game pies with accompaniments such as Fire pit root vegetables, baked Cheddar and pickled walnuts and Salt and hay baked heritage carrots with granola, birch syrup and crispy sage.
Adding to the theatrical experience, chefs carved Roasted Gloucester Old Spot infused with Somerset cider, Rare roasted dry aged beef with horseradish, parmesan and apple salsa and Pot roast purple cauliflower cheese, mustard and onion sauce.
A regal conclusion
A dedicated cheese station included a whole wheel of Vintage Cheddar with grapes, figs, oatcakes and smoked apple jam, individual Banbury cakes and Tunworth and beetroot caramel on sourdough toasts. Guests with a sweet tooth enjoyed desserts such as ‘Quaking Pudding’ – Nutmeg and cinnamon panna cotta with sour apple, Mandarin and Douglas fir pine bavarois, pine nut sablé and Griottine cherry trifle with saffron custard and Sherry syllabub with violets.

With National Tree Week upon us, we are thrilled to announce that from January 2020, as part of a wider sustainability strategy, we will plant a tree for every event confirmed.
Global planting programme
It has been reported widely that planting billions of trees across the world is the most efficient and cost-effective way of tackling the climate crisis. Leading scientists have advised that as the trees grow, they absorb and store carbon dioxide emissions which are currently driving global heating.
Two-thirds of all emissions in the atmosphere resulting from human activity could be removed by an international planting programme.
Founders of Blue Strawberry and Table Talk, Molly Watson and Jojo Browner (respectively) celebrated the launch of our new initiative to plant a tree for every event confirmed with a new sapling – a White Lilac ‘Madame Lemoine’ tree on our roof terrace in Stockwell.
Sustainability in events
The events industry has been criticised for its wasteful approach and inaction on sustainability issues. Next year, we will be sharing more details of initiatives designed to respond to the growing need for all businesses to take urgent action.
Molly Watson & Jojo Browner – Blue Strawberry and Table Talk founders
“It’s such a fantastic feeling for our clients to know that we will plant a tree as a direct result of their event.
We will be sharing regular updates on our progress with this brilliant initiative.
The whole team are hugely excited about getting involved – we are all looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and planting some trees ourselves!”
Professor Tom Crowther – ETH, Zürich
“This new quantitative evaluation shows [forest] restoration isn’t just one of our climate change solutions, it is overwhelmingly the top one.
What blows my mind is the scale. I thought restoration would be in the top 10, but it is overwhelmingly more powerful than all of the other climate change solutions proposed.”
